We Shall All Be Healed will be released early in 2004, and it will be preceded by a single called Palmcorder Yajna. The album was recorded at Bear Creek studios in Washington state, and produced by John Vanderslice. John Darnielle was joined at Bear Creek by Peter Hughes (bass guitar, amongst other things), Franklin Bruno (piano and organ), Christopher McGuire (drums) and Nora Danielson (violins). The legendary Darnielle work ethic was in full effect, and the Mountain Goats emerged from the ten day session with 16 new songs in the can.
